Cancellation/Refund Policy

Start/Finish Information
The start line for Bike DC is on 15th Street at Pennsylvania Avenue adjacent to Pershing Park. You will need to cross 14th Street to reach the start line from the registration/will call area and the other activities on Pennsylvania Avenue. BE CAREFUL. 14th Street will be open to motorized traffic throughout the event.
You will be able to start the ride beginning at 7:30 a.m. You must start the ride no later than 8:30 a.m.
Getting to and from Bike DC
Biking
There is a four mile gap between the Bike start and finish lines. This is necessitated because we have been unable to get a permit to cross a second bridge back into downtown Washington. Route Map.
Driving
Downtown Washington, DC.
Meter parking is free on Sunday in downtown Washington. If you prefer using a lot, the surface parking lot at 9th Street NW between H Street and New York Avenue is a good choice.
Crystal City
The Crystal City Business Improvement District is offering free parking to Bike DC participants on Sunday morning, May 23. Download this map showing the location of these parking lots.
Metro
Metro opens at 7 a.m. on Sunday mornings. The nearest stations to the start line are Federal Triangle or Metro Center on the Blue and Orange lines, Metro Center on the Red Line and Archives on the Green and Yellow lines.
The Crystal City Metro station (Yellow and Blue lines) is located just a few blocks from the finish line.
If you are biking to Old Town Alexandria, the King Street station (Yellow and Blue lines) is the closest station.
