Frequently Asked Questions
Did you get your Bike DC T-shirt?
If the rain and cold kept you away on Saturday, we want to get you the Bike DC T-shirt you ordered.
If you have not yet picked up your shirt you can now get them at any of the four Revolution Cycles stores in the Washington area or at the WABA office.
You will not need a receipt. Between now and the end of October simply go to the location most convenient for you during normal business hours and ask for your shirt.

If for some reason it is impracticable for you to get to one of these locations please send me an e-mail so we can make other arrangements.
How do I get from finish line to start line?
Unfortunately we could only get a permit to close one bridge so there is a 4-mile gap between our start and finish lines. There are several options for dealing with this.
1. Use Metro. Metro opens at 7 a.m. On the morning of Bike DC and bikes can come on the trains.
2. Park in downtown Washington. We are recommending people use the surface lot at 9th and H St. NW. After the ride we will have signs and volunteers directing participants who are biking back to DC from Crystal City using the Mount Vernon Trail and 14th Street Bridge.
3. Park in Crystal City. There are lots of parking lots near the finish line (Crystal Drive and 20th Street). We will have signs and volunteers stationed to help you get from there to the start line downtown at 10th and Constitution NW. (Crystal City parking map)
4. Park in between. Split the difference by parking someplace in the middle, e.g., East Potomac Park near the Jefferson Memorial or the parking lot at the end of the National runway.
Is Bike DC a rain or shine event?
Yes, Bike DC will be held rain or shine.
